1 Injured in Truck Accident on Highway 93 in Jerome, ID

Jerome, ID — November 14, 2023, one man was injured in a truck accident at sometime in the afternoon along Highway 93.

According to reports, a 65-year-old man was traveling in an 18-wheeler along Highway 93 when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the vehicle began veering off of the right side of the road. The semi was then over-corrected, driving across the lane of oncoming traffic and off the opposite side of the road. The trailer became detached from the cab and overturned, coming to rest on its side. The cab of the 18-wheeler did not roll. The 65-year-old incurred severe injuries as a result of the accident; he was airlifted to a medical facility where he could receive treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were not reported on. No additional details are currently available pertaining to this incident.
