2 Injured in Car Accident on C.R. 205 in Pecos, TX

Pecos, TX — October 21, 2023, two people were injured in a car accident just after 2:35 in the morning along County Road 204.

According to reports, to men—ages 30 and 38—were traveling in a northbound Ford F-150 on County Road 205 approaching the T-intersection with County Road 204 when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the pickup failed to safely turn in either direction at the intersection; instead, it continued straight through the intersection, off of the road, and into a pasture. It overturned, rolling until it came to a stop upright about 100 yards into the pasture. Both of the men in the vehicle reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the incident; they were each transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment.

The cause of the incident as not been confirmed; it is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. No additional details are currently available pertaining to this incident.
