Kellis Hendley Injured in Car Accident in Erath County, TX

Erath County, TX — October 21, 2023, Kellis Hendley was injured in a car accident at approximately 4:50 in the evening along C.R. 117.

According to reports, 49-year-old Kellis Hendley was traveling in a southbound Ford F-150 along C.R. 117 just north of the C.R. 109 intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the pickup veered left, crossed the northbound lane, left the roadway and struck the tire of a motor grader which had been parked on the side of the road. The pickup did not stop for another mile and a half, which was when it became disabled due to the damage incurred during the collision. Hendley reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident and was taken to a local medical facility for treatment.

The cause of the accident has yet to be confirmed; it is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. No additional information is currently available pertaining to this incident.
