1 Injured in Car Accident on U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, TX

Marble Falls, TX — October 18, 2023, one person was injured in a pedestrian car accident just after eight in the evening along U.S. 281.

According to authorities, a Nissan Frontier was southbound on U.S. 281 just past the Mission Hill intersection when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Nissan collided with a pedestrian which had been allegedly crossing from the east side of U.S. 281 to the west side. The pedestrian—a 31-year-old man whose identity has not yet been made public—reportedly incurred severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for immediate treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with this accident.

The cause of the accident has not been confirmed; the incident is still under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. No additional information is currently available pertaining to this incident.
