Irene Cruz Injured in Truck Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — October 19, 2023, Irene Cruz was injured in a truck accident at about 5:15 in the evening along Kiest Boulevard.

According to reports, 42-year-old Irene Cruz was traveling in a Honda Accord attempting to make a left turn from Kiest Boulevard onto Marsalis Avenue when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, a southbound Chevy pickup truck collided with the Honda in the intersection. The collision caused the Honda to spin and hit two vehicles—a bus and a Nissan Pathfinder—which had been in the eastbound lanes of Kiest Blvd. awaiting a green light indication. Irene Cruz reportedly incurred severe injuries as a result of the accident; she was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with this accident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. There is no additional information available pertaining to this incident.
