1 Injured in Bus Accident on New Braunfels Road in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — October 31, 2023, one person was injured in a bicycle bus accident just after 10:30 p.m. along New Braunfels Road.

According to reports, a 52-year-old woman was riding a bike northward along New Braunfels Road near the Essex Street intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the bike collided with the side of a city bus that was also northbound along New Braunfels Road. The 52-year-old—whose identity has not yet been confirmed—reportedly sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. No additional information is currently available pertaining to this incident.
