1 Injured in Truck Accident on Airport Drive in McKinney, TX

McKinney, TX — October 25, 2023, one person was injured in a motorcycle truck accident just before 7 a.m. along Airport Drive.

According to reports, a 19-year-old man was traveling on a northbound Kawasaki motorcycle approaching the Enloe Road intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Kawasaki collided with the back of an 18-wheeler which had been parked in the right-hand lane of Airport Drive just south of Enloe Road with hazard lights activated. The 19-year-old—whose identity has yet to be confirmed—reportedly sustained potentially life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for immediate treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

The causal factors in this accident are still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and dry. There are no additional details currently available.
