According to officials, 20-year-old Isaac Nemes, 21-year-old Layni Doucet, and a 23-year-old man were in a Toyota Rav4 going northbound along the highway. Their vehicle was apparently changing lanes when a Chevy Camaro reportedly going at high speeds crashed into them. The Camaro then collided with a Jeep Wrangler.

As a result of the collision, Doucet reportedly had incapacitating injuries. Nemes, the other Rav4 passenger, and the driver of the Jeep all reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. Authorities allege that the Camaro driver fled the scene on foot, but authorities say they located that driver and filed charges for failure to stop and render aid.
