Preciliano Damien Peña Jr. Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in San Antonio, TX

UPDATE (November 28, 2023): The victim who was killed in this accident has been identified as 25-year-old Preciliano Damien Peña Jr. The identity of the other person involved has not yet been confirmed.

San Antonio, TX — November 9, 2023, one man was killed and a woman was injured in a single-car accident just before 12:00 midnight along AT&T Center Parkway.

Authorities report that the victims were traveling in a southbound Chevy Camaro along AT&T Center Parkway in the vicinity of the Gembler Road intersection when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Camaro veered off of the roadway and slid into a utility pole; the collision happened on the driver's side of the vehicle. The male victim—whose identity has not been made public—was declared dead at the scene of the accident. A 20-year-old female passenger reportedly sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment and care.

The cause of the accident has not been confirmed; it is under investigation by local authorities. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were not reported on, but pictures published of the scene show apparently wet roads.
