Nikki Delgadillo, Marilyn Rojas, Child Killed in Alleged Drunk Driver Accident in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — October 14, 2023, Nikki Delgadillo, Marilyn Rojas, and a child were killed due to an alleged drunk driver accident along Zaragoza Road.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the fatal crash happened at approximately 8:25 a.m. at the intersection of Zaragoza Road and South Americas Avenue/Cesar E. Chavez Border Highway.

It appears that 27-year-old Nikki Delgadillo, 31-year-old Marilyn Rojas, and an 8-year-old girl were in a Mazda Tribute going along Zaragoza. While crossing through the intersection, authorities say that a Nissan Armada was fleeing a traffic stop from the freeway and ran a red light. Doing so, it crashed into the Mazda, causing the vehicle to catch on fire.

Nikki Delgadillo, Marilyn Rojas, and the child in their vehicle all suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Nissan reportedly attempt to flee the scene after the collision, but authorities say they arrested that person. There appear to be charges pending at this time for evading police and intoxication manslaughter. Additional details about possible charges are unavailable as investigations continue.
