Adonay Aguilar Killed, Diego Garcia Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident in Houston, TX

UPDATE (November 20, 2023): Recent details released by Harris County officials identifies the victims involved and confirms pending charges against the alleged intoxicated driver.

Details say that Adonay Aguilar was killed due to the accident while Diego Garcia was injured. The allegedly intoxicated driver appears to have pending charges for intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

If the allegations surrounding this crash turn out to be true, I have to wonder if there will be even more charges as investigations continue. Just before midnight, a lot of impaired drivers are drunk, and many of them got their alcohol from a local bar. Houston and Harris County officials often look into that sort of thing, but I haven't seen them mention anything of the sort here. Have they ruled out the possibility that there's a local alcohol provider who illegally over-served the driver here? Or, is that something that has yet to be investigated?
