Tyler Street Killed, Michael Woodward Injured in Truck Accident in Tillamook County, OR

Tillamook County, OR — November 3, 2023, Tyler Street was killed and Michael Woodward was injured in a truck accident around 7:00 a.m. along Highway 6.

Authorities report that Tyler Street—age 30—was traveling in a westbound Toyota Prius along State Highway 6 in the vicinity of mile marker 12 when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Prius veered left over the center line of the highway and into the eastbound lane of traffic, resulting in a head-on collision with an oncoming log truck carrying 67-year-old Michael Woodward. Tyler Street was pronounced dead at the scene, while Michael Woodward incurred reportedly minor injuries as a result of the collision.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by authorities. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the incident have not been reported on. There are no additional details available at this point.
