Megan Thompson Injured in Truck Accident in Winamac, IN

Winamac, IN — November 7, 2023, Megan Thompson was injured in a rear-end truck accident along U.S. Highway 35.

According to reports, Megan Thompson was traveling northbound in a vehicle on U.S. 35 north of C.R. 100 when the incident occurred.

Her vehicle had come to a stop in order to wait for an opening in oncoming southbound traffic to make a left turn into a parking lot. For unknown reasons, a northbound 18-wheeler collided with the back of her vehicle. Thompson was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment of injuries incurred as a result of the accident. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this incident.

The causal factors in this accident are under investigation by authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were not reported on. There is no additional information available at this point in time.
