Geneva Culp, 1 Injured in Truck Accident in Dexter, KY

Dexter, KY — November 6, 2023, Geneva Culp and one other person were injured in a truck accident at around 12:30 in the afternoon along Roosevelt Rd.

According to reports, emergency workers were called to a scene of a an accident at the intersection of Radio and Roosevelt Roads.

The accident involved two different vehicles, one of which had been hauling a trailer which had somehow become detached during the incident. Geneva Culp was entrapped in one of the vehicles—a GMC. She was transported to a local hospital after extrication for treatment of injuries incurred during the accident.

According to Culp, she had been driving south on Radio approaching the intersection where she noted a flashing yellow light. Traffic coming from Roosevelt was supposed to yield to Radio Road traffic. The other vehicle involved in the accident supposedly stopped only briefly before continuing into the intersection. Culp alleges that she was unable to stop quickly enough to avoid a collision.

The accident is still under investigation by authorities. There are no additional details currently available.
