1 Injured in Truck Accident along Route 460 in Isle of Wight County, VA

Isle of Wight County, VA — November 9, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident sometime around 9:30 in the evening along Route 460.

According to reports, the incident occurred along Route 460 just one mile to the west of Windsor.

Rescue workers were called to the scene of an accident involving two 18-wheelers. The cause of the accident is unknown, but one person involved in the crash incurred reportedly severe injuries; they were airlifted by helicopter to a medical facility for immediate treatment.

The accident is still under active investigation by authorities. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the incident have not been reported on. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
