1 Injured in Semi Truck Rollover Accident along I-405 in Portland OR

Portland, OR — November 9, 2023, one person was injured in a semi truck rollover accident just after 11:30 a.m. along Interstate 405.

According to reports, emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident that occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 405 at the Interstate 5 interchange.

For unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler had rolled and reportedly begun to leak fuel. The driver of the 18-wheeler and a dog were entrapped in the vehicle. After extrication, the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries incurred as a result of the accident. The dog was unhurt.

The causal factors of the accident are still under investigation by authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been reported on. There is no additional information currently available.
