1 Killed in Pedestrian Semi Truck Accident on I-10 in Madison County, FL

Madison County, FL — November 1, 2023, one person was killed in a pedestrian semi truck accident at about 12:20 p.m. along Interstate 10.

According to reports, the accident took place in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10, just a couple miles east of S.H. 14.

For unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler that had been traveling westbound on I-10 struck a pedestrian who had allegedly been walking alongside the roadway. Emergency medical services were called to the scene of the accident, but the victim was declared deceased.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by authorities. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the incident have not been reported on. There is no additional information available at this point in time.
