Man Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on General Bruce Drive in Temple, TX

Bell County, TX — October 28, 2023, a man sustained injuries as the result of a single-vehicle car accident that happened at around 2:55 a.m. off I-35.

Officials say in their initial statements that the crash occurred off the corner of the North General Bruce Drive/I-35 service road and H. K. Dodgen Loop intersection.

According to investigators, a 27-year-old man was said to be the driver of a Chrysler 300 going northbound along the service road. That vehicle went toward the interstate entrance ramp when it somehow hit a crash barrier and overturned repeatedly.

The driver of the Chrysler had incapacitating injuries following the crash, authorities said. They did not mention anyone else being involved in the crash. Right now, the exact cause of the accident has yet to be confirmed.
