2 Injured in Truck Accident on U.S. 30 in Starke County, IN

Starke County, IN — November 1, 2023, two people were injured in a truck accident around one o'clock in the morning along U.S. 30.

According to reports, the accident took place on U.S. 30 just east of 50 East.

The accident involved three semi trucks and one box truck. The box truck was reportedly on its side when first responders arrived on the scene. Two of the people involved complained of pain, but only one was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medial services for treatment.

Road conditions in the area at the time of the incident were reportedly icy. One of the drivers had reportedly been driving at unsafe speeds for the road conditions. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
