1 Injured in Truck Accident on West Mallory Avenue in Memphis, TN

Memphis, TN — November 4, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 7:50 in the morning on West Mallory Avenue.

According to reports, the incident took place one West Mallory Avenue, just west of Riverport road; it was reportedly near the Valero Refinery.

The cause of the accident is unknown. First responders arrived on the scene to find a fuel truck—which was the only vehicle involved in the incident—in flames. One man reportedly sustained injuries as a result of the accident and was transported by emergency medical services to a local hospital for treatment. His condition was reportedly stable. No other injuries were reported in connection with this accident.

The incident is still under investigation by authorities. Weather and driving conditions in the area at the time of the accident have not been reported on. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
