Stephen Kess Killed in Truck Accident in La Vista, NE

La Vista, NE — November 2, 2023, Stephen Kess was killed in a truck accident just before 8:45 in the morning along Interstate 80.

According to authorities, 72-year-old Stephen Kess from Lincoln was traveling in a Honda Accord in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 near Giles Road when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Honda suffered a collision with an 18-wheeler, resulting in Kess sustaining fatal injuries; he was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported in connection with this accident.
