Pedestrian Killed in Truck Accident on S.R. 167 near Algona, Washington

King County, WA — November 1, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a truck accident at about 2:00 in the afternoon along State Route 167.

According to reports, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of State Route 167 just north of the Ellingson Road overpass.

For unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by an 18-wheeler, sustaining reportedly life-threatening injuries as a result. The victim—whose identity has not yet been made public—was airlifted by emergency medical services to a hospital for immediate treatment, but they were later declared deceased.
