1 Killed in Truck Accident on I-285 in Atlanta, GA

Atlanta, GA — November 8, 2023, one person was killed in a truck accident at about 2:30 in the morning along Interstate 285.

According to reports, a man was traveling southbound on I-285 in a passenger vehicle near Campbellton Road when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the vehicle rear-ended an 18-wheeler which had also been traveling in the southbound lanes of Interstate 285. The man—whose identity has not been confirmed—was killed as a result of injuries incurred during the accident. No other injuries have been reported in connection with this accident.
