1 Injured in Truck Accident along Hwy. 190 in Death Valley National Park, NV

Death Valley National Park, NV — November 5, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident just before 10:00 in the morning along Highway 190.

Authorities report that the accident occurred along Highway 190 west of Towne Pass.

The 18-wheeler hauling active beehives was allegedly traveling on a section of the highway that had a steep grade. For unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler veered off the roadway and rolled several times before coming to a stop. The beehives were strewn everywhere as a result and the angry bees stung both the driver and first responders who arrived at the scene to help the victim.

The 35-year-old man—whose identity has not yet been made public— suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident and was airlifted to a hospital for immediate treatment. The accident is still under investigation. No additional details are currently available.
