1 Injured in Truck Accident on Hwy. 67 near Bangs, TX

Brown County, TX — November 8, 2023, one person was injured in a rollover truck accident around 1:00 in the afternoon along Highway 67.

According to reports, a man was driving in a pickup truck hauling a flatbed trailer loaded with a skid steer heading eastbound on Highway 67 near the C.R. 198 intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the vehicle allegedly rolled, coming to a stop with the pickup truck upright, but the trailer resting on its right side in the brush along the roadside. The lone occupant of the vehicle—whose identity has not been confirmed—suffered a leg injury and was unable to extract himself from the vehicle because of it. Emergency medical services assisted him from the vehicle and transported him to a local medical facility for treatment.

The cause of the accident is unknown. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not reported on. There are no additional details currently available.
