Kendra Leeann Hernandez Injured in Car Accident in Falfurrias, TX

Falfurrias, TX — October 15, 2023, Kendra Leeann Hernandez was injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 3:15 a.m. on West Rice Street.

Authorities said in initial public statements that the crash took place at the intersection of Rice Street (Highway 285) and North Terrell Street, just west of U.S. Highway 281.

Investigators said that 29-year-old Kendra Leeann Hernandez was in a Nissan Rogue going eastbound along Rice Street approaching the Terrell Street intersection. Before reaching it, details suggest that the Nissan somehow went to the left across westbound lanes and off the corner of the road. There, Hernandez's vehicle then crashed into two poles and overturned.

Due to the collision, Hernandez sustained incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash according to authorities. They did not release any additional details which can be confirmed at this time.
