Viviana Ramos-Valencia, Megan Willits, Child Injured in Truck Accident in Sioux Center, IA

Sioux Center, IA — November 6, 2023, Megan Willits, Viviana Ramos, and a 13-year-old minor were injured in a truck accident just after 6 p.m. along Hwy. 75.

According to reports, Viviana Ramos-Valencia and the 13-year-old minor were traveling in a northbound Chevy Tahoe about a mile north of Sioux Center when the accident occurred.

An 18-wheeler was in the southbound lane at the same time. Megan Willits, who was traveling in a westbound Chrysler Town and Country on a private road, was attempting to make a turn onto Highway 75 southbound when, for unknown reasons, the Chrysler collided with both the 18-wheeler and the Chevy Tahoe.

Willits, Ramos-Valencia, and the minor were all injured as a result of the crash. They were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services for treatment. The accident is still under investigation. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this accident. Weather and road conditions were not reported on. There are no additional details available at this time.
