Shawn Michael Smith Injured in Car Accident in Grimes County, TX

Grimes County, TX — October 28, 2023, Shawn Michael Smith was injured due to a single-vehicle accident at around 9:41 p.m. along County Road 215.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash took place in the area of the County Road 215 and Ski Lane intersection.

It appears that 42-year-old Shawn Michael Smith was the driver of a Chevy Silverado said to be going northbound on a private drive. Where the drive T-intersects with C.R. 215, the pickup somehow continued across the road and off the side of it where it crashed into the brush line.

Details suggest that Smith had incapacitating injuries following the accident. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash, according to officials. No further information can be confirmed right now.
