Katharine Watton Injured in Car Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — October 7, 2023, Katharine Watton was injured as the result of a car accident just after midnight along Botham Jean Boulevard.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at approximately 12:10 a.m. in the area of Botham Jean Boulevard and South Belleview Street.

According to officials, 53-year-old Katharine Watton was a passenger in a Ford Expedition going southbound along Botham Jean. Authorities allege that the driver of the Ford was under the influence of alcohol, and the Ford crashed into the back of what appears to have been an unoccupied vehicle along the side of Botham Jean.

Due to this collision, Watton was taken from the scene with injuries described as incapacitating. Right now, there are no additional details about factors surrounding the crash.
