Kelly Ann Gilchrist, 1 Injured in Truck Accident in Nash, TX

Nash, TX — October 19, 2023, Kelly Ann Gilchrist and one other person were injured in a truck accident at 3:30 p.m. along Kings Hwy.

According to reports, Kelly Ann Gilchrist and a 51-year-old male were stopped in traffic in a Jeep Wrangler in the right-hand southbound lane of North Kings Highway just south of the Walker Street intersection when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler failed to stop before rear-ending the Jeep. The collision caused the Jeep to collide with the Chevy Silverado which had also been stopped in traffic ahead of it. Both Kelly Ann Gilchrist and the 51-year-old male who had also been in the Jeep sustained injuries as a result of the incident; Gilchrist's injuries were reportedly severe. Both were transported by emergency medical services to a local medical facility for treatment.

The cause of the incident has not been confirmed. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this incident. The accident is still under investigation by authorities; no additional details are currently available.
