Albuquerque, NM — November 5, 2023, a man was killed in a truck accident at about 9:30 in the morning at a truck stop on University Boulevard.

The incident took place at the truck stop along University Boulevard near Menaul Boulevard NE.

According to reports, an employee at the truck stop had given direction to two different 18-wheelers that they needed to move their vehicles. For unknown reasons, as one of the trucks began to move, it struck and dragged the employee. The employee reportedly incurred incredibly serious injuries which led to his death.

The cause of the accident is unknown. The incident is under active investigation by authorities. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been reported on. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
