1 Injured in Truck Accident on Richey Road in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — October 17, 2023, one man was injured in a truck accident at approximately 5:45 in the morning along Richey Road.

According to reports, a 23-year-old man was traveling in a westbound Chevy Tahoe along Richey Road approaching Blue Ash Drive when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Tahoe struck the rear left side of a trailer being towed by an 18-wheeler making a left hand turn from Blue Ash Drive to head east on Richey Road. The 23-year-old man sustained reportedly serious injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

The accident is still under investigation by authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. No additional details are available at this point in time.
