1 Injured in Truck Accident on S.H. 183 in Bedford, TX

Bedford, TX — October 16, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident just after 4 in the morning along State Highway 183.

According to reports, a 19-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound Camaro on S.H. 183 approaching Industrial Boulevard when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Camaro struck the rear-end of the trailer of and 18-wheeler which had been traveling in the same lane ahead. After the initial collision, the vehicle swerved to the left and collided with a retaining wall on the left-hand side of the road.

The 19-year-old suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this accident. The incident is still under investigation by authorities; no additional details are available at this point.
