1 Injured in Truck Accident on C.R. 23 in Sherman County, TX

Sherman County, TX — October 16, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident just before 2:30 in the afternoon along Country Road 23.

According to reports, a 45-year-old man was traveling south in an 18-wheeler on C.R. 23 approaching the C.R. BB intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler was driving over recommended speeds for the curve; the vehicle ended up rolling toward the driver's side, coming to rest in the roadside ditch on the left side of C.R. BB.

The 45-year-old sustained reportedly serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. The accident is still under investigation. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. No additional details are available at this point in time.
