1 Injured in Truck Accident on I-35 in Troy, TX

Troy, TX — October 15, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident at 3 o'clock in the morning along Interstate 35.

According to reports, a 21-year-old man was traveling southbound in a Lincoln on the I-35 in the left-most lane in the vicinity of Big Elm Road when the incident occurred.

The cause of the accident has not been confirmed. For unknown reasons, the Lincoln veered right out of the left-hand lane and collided with the trailer of an 18-wheeler. The collision caused the Lincoln to then swerve left, striking the concrete barrier of the median before swerving right again and making front-end contact with the trailer.

The 21-year-old suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this accident. It is still under investigation by authorities. No other details are currently available.
