1 Killed, 1 Injured in Truck Accident on I-37 in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — April 3, 2023, one person was killed and another was injured in a truck accident just before 6:30 p.m. along Interstate 35.

According to reports, the four vehicles involved were all traveling northbound on Interstate 37 approaching the I-35 junction when the accident occurred.

An 18-wheeler reportedly rear-ended an Infinity which had been stopped due to traffic conditions at the time. This collision caused a chain reaction; the Infinity rear-ended a Chevy Silverado, which rear-ended a Toyota Tacoma, which rear-ended a Chevy Tahoe.

Authorities state that, as a result of the collision, the 22-year-old female passenger of the Infinity was killed, and the 27-year-old male driver was injured. No other injuries were reported in connection with this accident. Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. There are no additional details available at this time.
