Victoria Bush Stedman Injured in Car Accident in Plano, TX

Plano, TX — July 28, 2023, Victoria Bush Stedman was injured due to a two-car accident that happened at around 2:35 p.m. on East Park Boulevard.

Officials said in their statements that the crash happened at the intersection of East Park and K Avenue, just off Central Expressway.

According to current public information from authorities, 25-year-old Victoria Stedman was in her Jeep Cherokee stopped at the red light on eastbound Park Boulevard. While there, it appears an eastbound Toyota Scion allegedly failed to control speed and crashed into the back of Stedman's Cherokee.

Due to the collision, details say Stedman had incapacitating injuries. The Scion driver reportedly was not hurt.

This detail actually stands out to me. If you were to tell me a nearly 20 year old vehicle rear-ended a more modern, heavier vehicle, and that one person was seriously hurt, I would expect in nearly every instance that the driver in the more modern vehicle was the one to escape injury. It's possible nothing all that shocking led to this outcome, but I can't help wondering if authorities have since found any new details that would explain why this crash seems to be the odd one out.
