Rafael Martin Escobedo Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Grand Prairie, TX

According to officials, 29-year-old Rafael Martin Escobedo was on foot at the time and at some point entered lanes of travel. It is not clear exactly where Escobedo was or what he was doing. As he was in the road, a northbound vehicle strucki Escobedo, throwing him almost a hundred feet, authorities said.

Due to the collision, Escobedo succumbed to his injuries. The driver was apparently recommended for a citation for not having an operator's license. Authorities did not say if they were considering other charges. Right now, additional details remain unavailable.

One thing authorities mentioned is having video of the aftermath of the collision itself but not of the actual moment of impact. I wonder if there are other angles at a nearby property or from a witness that can help present a more complete picture of what led to this awful event.
