Carolyn Thompson Injured in Truck Accident in Childress, TX

Childress, TX — October 11, 2023, Carolyn Thompson was injured following a commercial truck accident at around 3:10 p.m. along Avenue F.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident took place near the intersection of Avenue F (U.S. 287) and 7th Street NW.

According to officials, 76-year-old Carolyn Sessums Thompson was in a Toyota Rav4 going southbound along 7th Street NW. At the Avenue F intersection, the Toyota and an eastbound semi-truck collided with one another.

Thompson reportedly had incapacitating injuries as a result of the accident. There did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the accident. No further information can be confirmed right now.
