Anthony Mallory Killed, 6 Injured in Truck Accident in Mercer County, PA

Mercer County, PA — November 1, 2023, Anthony Mallory was killed and six others were injured in a truck accident around 5:45 a.m. along Interstate 80.

According to reports, traffic was moving eastbound near Mercer-New Wilmington Road in snowy and icy conditions when the accident occurred.

The accident was initiated by an 18-wheeler going into a skid, traveling across both lanes of eastbound traffic, and coming to a stop with the trailer obstructing both lanes. This incident led to a chain-reaction of crashes involving two more 18-wheelers, an SUV, a commercial vehicle, and two additional passenger vehicles.

Seven people, including 34-year-old Anthony Mallory were injured in the pile-up. Mallory was reportedly unconscious and entrapped in the SUV. He ended up dying at the scene of the accident because of the extent of the injuries incurred during the crash.

The accident is still under investigation by authorities. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
