One Killed, One Injured in Rollover Vehicle Accident in San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX — November 2, 2023, a person was killed, and one was injured in a rollover vehicle collision in the 300 block of South U.S. 87 in San Angelo, TX.

Authorities indicate that on November 2, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle collided in San Angelo. According to police, the car was traveling in the 300 block of U.S. 87 when it hit a highway sign for unknown reasons and overturned. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found that the vehicle driver had been partly thrown from the vehicle. One other person remained in the vehicle.

Officials confirmed the driver, a 37-year-old man whose name has not been released, suffered severe injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver did not survive. The other vehicle occupant was also taken to the hospital. No further information was given about the person's condition.

No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were said to be involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
