Mukuka Mumbi Injured in Truck Accident in San Marcos, TX

San Marcos, TX — October 9, 2023, Mukuka Mumbi was injured in a truck accident just after 4:30 p.m. along Aquarena Springs Drive.

According to reports, 18-year-old Mukuka Mumbi was traveling westbound in a Honda CR-V approaching the Charles Austin Drive intersection when the accident took place.

For unknown reasons, the Honda collided with the rear end of an 18-wheeler which had been stopped in the left-hand turn lane waiting for the traffic light to allow a left turn onto Charles Austin Drive.

Mumbi sustained reportedly serious injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been made public. There were no additional injuries reported in connection with this accident. The incident is still under investigation; no other details are currently available.
