Samuel Hilary Injured in Car Accident in New Braunfels, TX

New Braunfels, TX — October 20, 2023, Samuel Hilary was injured following an alleged intoxicated driving accident at around 3:26 a.m. along Interstate 35.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened on southbound lanes of I-35 near F.M. 306.

Officials said in their statements that 30-year-old Samuel Chukwudi Hilary was in a Toyota Camry stopped along the shoulder of the freeway. While there, it appears Ford Edge somehow went onto the shoulder and hit the Camry.

As a result of the collision, Hilary had apparently incapacitating injuries. The other driver did not appear to be hurt. Authorities allege that driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident. charges for DWI were recommended, but official details are unclear.
