Edmond, OK — November 2, 2023, one person was killed and two were injured following a wrecker accident at around 7:45 a.m. on I-35.

Stanley Linzy Killed, 2 Injured in Wrecker Truck Accident on I-35 in Edmond, OK

According to statements from authorities, traffic along northbound lanes of the interstate was moving as a wrecker truck in the southbound lanes apparently went cross the median. This led to the truck crashing into the northbound vehicles in a chain-reaction collision.

While authorities gave conflicting statements early on, it appears they've confirmed that one person died in the crash while two others were taken to area hospitals. The names of the victims have not yet been released. No further information about the crash is available right now.

If it's true a truck went across a whole median into oncoming traffic, that's usually a sign something went seriously wrong. Are there any witnesses out there who can help shed light on what may have caused this horrible event?
