One Injured in Parking Lot Accident near South Loop 323 in Tyler, TX

Tyler, TX — November 1, 2023, a person was injured in the parking lot of Hall Collision Center on Towne Park Drive near South Loop 323 in Tyler, TX.

Authorities indicate that on November 1, an accident occurred when a man was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of an auto service center in Tyler. According to reports, the accident happened sometime in the morning.

Investigators say a vehicle was traveling along the roadway when it suddenly veered off, struck a sign, a parked car, and a person in a parking lot. Investigators say the vehicle then crashed into a building. The collision occurred in the parking lot of Hall Collision Center. The cause has not been released at this time.

Officials confirmed the man who was struck suffered severe injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver of the vehicle reportedly had injuries and also went to a hospital. The victim is said to be in serious condition. No additional details were given.

Police are still investigating.
