Anthony Mallory Killed, 6 Injured in Truck Accident near Mercer, PA

Mercer County, PA — November 1, 2023, Anthony Mallory was killed and 6 others were injured at about 5:45 in the morning along I-80.

According to reports, the accident occurred on Interstate-80 eastbound approaching the Mercer exit. Roadways in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly slick due to a recent snow storm.

The actual cause of the accident is unknown, but about eight to ten vehicles were reportedly involved, including at least four 18-wheelers. Additional vehicles were involved in chain-reaction accidents in attempts to avoid the first incident.

34-year-old Anthony Mallory, of Rochester, New York, was killed as a result of blunt force injuries to the head and chest incurred during the accident. Authorities state that six additional people reportedly sustained injuries during the accident, as well. The accident is still under investigation; there are no further details available at this time.
