Misael Deanda, Irvin Vazquez Gandara Killed in Car Accident in Comanche County, TX

Comanche County, TX — October 29, 2023, Misael Deanda and Irvin Vazquez Gandara were killed following a car accident at around 3:30 a.m. along Highway 36.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash occurred just outside of Gustine.

It appears that 28-year-old Misael Deanda and 23-year-old Irvin Vazquez Gandara were in a pickup going southeast along Highway 36. Roads were wet due to rain at the time, and the pickup ended up going off-road. There, it hit the end of a guardrail, went through a ditch, and ultimately hit a tree.

Due to the collision, Deanda and Vazquez Gandara both sustained fatal injuries. There were no other occupants or vehicles mentioned in reports. The exact cause of the crash cannot be confirmed at this time.
