Marshfield, MO — October 22, 2023, Madison Bell was killed, and Alexander Witt was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 near Marshfield, MO.

Authorities indicate that on October 22, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle crashed near Marshfield for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 3:00 in the morning.

Investigators say the vehicle was traveling along Interstate 44 when it suddenly left the roadway and struck an embankment. Police reported that the vehicle overturned, throwing a passenger from the car. The passenger was reportedly struck by another vehicle, which left the scene. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.

Officials confirmed the passenger, Madison Bell, 18, suffered fatal injuries. The vehicle driver, Alexander Witt, 21, reportedly suffered severe injuries and was taken to an area hospital. No further information is available.
