Jenifer Cleveland Killed after Med Spa Visit in Wortham, TX

Wortham, TX — July 10, 2023, Jennifer Cleveland was killed after a visit to the Lux Medspa in Wortham, TX.

According to reports, 47-year-old Jenifer Cleveland became unresponsive after receiving an IV containing vitamin B12, ascorbic acid, TPN electrolytes, and vitamin B complex.

Emergency Medical Services were called after she was found unresponsive, and she was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, despite multiple attempts to resuscitate her. Autopsy results state that she died of "sudden cardiac death of uncertain etiology."

The Med Spa was allegedly operating under the medical license of a Frisco doctor, Michael Patrick Gallagher, M.D., but the people who were actually doing the administration of IV therapies were unlicensed. Doctor Gallagher's medical license has been temporarily suspended.

The entire incident is still under investigation by authorities. No additional details are available at this point in time.
