Minor Injured in Hit-and-run Car Accident on Clover Haven Street in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — October 30, 2023, a 13-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at about 3:40 p.m. along Clover Haven Street.

The incident reportedly occurred at the exit of an alleyway in the 5100 block of Clover Haven Street.

According to reports, the vehicle involved was exiting the alleyway when it struck and seriously injured the 13-year-old boy who had been riding a go-kart. The vehicle then backed up back down the alley it had been attempting to exit and left the scene without an attempt to give any kind of aid to the victim. The boy was transported to a local hospital by emergency medial services for immediate treatment. His current condition has not been made public.

The incident is still under active investigation by authorities, who are urging anyone with information about the accident to come forward. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
